Ventana Serra passes its ISO 9001:2015 certification with flying colours

A further guarantee of excellence in offering ocean and air freight services at a global level

Ventana Serra has recently demonstrated its ongoing commitment to achieving the highest standards for the services it provides after successfully maintaining its ISO 9001:2015 certification in Italy for the Basiano and Rivalta branches.
The inspection was carried out by Certiquality partly on-site and partly off-site. This was done in order to ensure maximum safety and protection of both the staff and those involved in the inspection activities. Remote audits were conducted through interviews and the sharing of data and documents.
For more than 10 years, Ventana Serra's quality management system in Italy has been certified in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9001 standards as an indispensable tool to guarantee the excellence of our processes and services.
With a view towards continuous improvement, certification has also been extended to the process of checking the gross vehicle mass (GVW) of maritime containers in accordance with the international SOLAS regulation. This has become a fundamental requirement to ensure high safety standards at sea.

"Quality management is considered a strategic improvement factor and an ongoing commitment within our company policy. In a competitive industry like ours, it is important that the highest quality standards are met. For this reason, we are committed to making improvements each and every day, in order to meet the needs of our customers," said Silvano Cavallotto, Air&Ocean Business Unit Director.

Certiquality is a certification body which is specialised in certifying quality, environmental and health and safety management systems and other systems such as information security management systems, as well as in certifying products and in providing auditing and professional training services. They are also partner of IQNet (International Certification Network) and issue certifications across Europe, as well as in many other non-European countries.
