Ventana Serra Brazil receives the best Supply Chain supplier award for the LATAM region from FCA

Arcese Group achieves a new major acknowledgement from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles for its work in Latin America

Ventana Serra has received the 2019 “Supplier of the year” award in "Supply Chain" area from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) during the LATAM Annual Supplier Conference, an event organised by FCA to acknowledge suppliers who have helped the Group’s activities.
One of the main topics of the convention was the “Rota 2030” programme, which will drive FCA’s development and its goals in the next few years. That’s why, it’s important that all the Group’s suppliers interact with each other. This includes Ventana Serra, of course, who has always stood out for being collaborative, as proven by this award.

Ventana Serra has always forged  successful partnerships based on communication and transparency. This also applies to FCA, with whom they have established a relationship based on mutual trust.
The collaboration between Ventana Serra and the FCA group in Brazil started in 1997 by managing air import and export flows from Europe to Latin America.
This relationship has been consolidated over the years, and today, Ventana Serra manages import and export flows for FCA between Europe, the USA, Mexico, China, and South America. In particular in Brazil, Ventana Serra integrates air freight with sea and road freight shipments, in addition to value-added warehousing services.

The winners were chosen based on the performance indicators of the past year. An assessment method that considers the supplier’s performance in terms of quality, delivery, costs, reliability, partnership and FCA Group’s perception.

The award was collected by Matteo Arcese, President of the Group. The prize award was given for the following reason: “Best Supply Chain supplier for the LATAM region in 2019 for having proved a deep sense of partnership and utmost flexibility in managing the changes in FCA’s processes. A partner that believes in FCA’s development strength.” Silvano Cavallotto, COO Worldwide of the Ventana Serra Group, and Paolo Casadonte, CEO of Ventana Serra do Brasil, also attended the event.
Receiving such an acknowledgement for our efforts is a major milestone” – said Matteo Arcese, who continued – “This award motivates us even more in pursuing the innovative path we have undertaken and we are sure it will help us make the difference for our client. We believe that this partnership will keep being stimulating and a source of incredible satisfaction for us and for the FCA group.”

Paolo Casadonte, CEO of Ventana Serra do Brasil added “As a strategic logistics partner, we can support the client and help them grow on a global scale. We have worked really hard on every aspect of the client-supplier relationship, from sales and administration management to the processes and IT, paying special attention to connectivity and innovation.” Then he added “With FCA we have a stimulating partnership based on teamwork. Every player must do their best and help achieve the goal. This is how our colleagues and partners face their daily work.”
