Arcese's concrete commitment to sustainability rewarded

The Gold corporate sustainability rating, an indicator of the company's sustainability performance, was confirmed

Arcese's concrete commitment to sustainability is confirmed by the Gold Medal from the EcoVadis rating platform in 2022. It also improved its rating compared with previous years, ranking in the top 2% of companies in its sector.

The EcoVadis methodology is based on international sustainability standards (Global Reporting Initiative, UN Global Compact, ISO 26000) and is designed to assess companies on the basis of indicators covering four thematic areas: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.

The decision to submit the work to verification through the Ecovadis platform is part of a broader project by Arcese aimed at certifying its constant commitment to proposing more sustainable solutions, according to corporate management practices that respect the environment, people and the territories in which the Group operates.

'We are proud of this confirmation, a recognition achieved thanks to the involvement of all corporate functions and the daily commitment of all our people,' said Carlo La Corte, Sustainability Manager at Arcese. "All our CSR initiatives and projects are geared towards optimising our value chain. That is why we carefully select our partners and suppliers by checking that they meet the same environmental, quality and social responsibility requirements as we do. We want to be a key partner for our customers with proactive actions against climate change and therefore support them in their decarbonisation processes. Lastly, we are proud to have a constant focus on the welfare of our people and to have adhered to an evolved smart working model, without ever losing sight of essential issues such as inclusiveness and participation in charity initiatives in collaboration with local and international associations”.
