Arcese’s new Paris site - an important strategic investment by the Group on French soil - recently became operational
Arcese France is officially up and running thanks to the new branch in Lognes, replacing the former Crossy branch in that area, and enhancing, improving and enriching the transport services offered within France.
This move responds to the need for new spaces presented by the sharp increase in shipment volumes recorded in recent months.
The new site is located in Lognes, in a strategic position 15 km from the city of Paris and 30 km from the major French airports of Charles de Gaulle and Orly.
The facility features a large warehouse and places particular emphasis on security, given that the new branch will be the main hub for distribution in France and Europe of goods for the Group’s customers in the Fashion & Luxury sector. Indeed, the site is protected by an advanced 24/7 video surveillance system and by ESFR (Early Suppression Fast Response) fire sprinkler systems, thus guaranteeing maximum prevention and security.
“Arcese France will be increasingly at the centre of the Group’s European network, ensuring its development in the vitally important market that France represents”, stated Alessandro Vai, Country Manager for Arcese France, continuing: “The new Paris branch will enable Arcese France to continue its expansion in both national and international transport, as well as integrated logistics, thus guaranteeing its offering of a complete service catering for requirements and businesses of all kinds”.
The opening of this new site is part of the Arcese Group’s wider plan of growth in Europe: its French operations, launched in 2010, are, today, achieving increasingly significant results and consolidating the Group’s business in France and Beyond.
