Arcese continues to grow in Spain for a truly integrated logistics

Important news for the group in Spain with the confirmation of a new warehouse in Barcelona that meets the highest criteria for energy efficiency and sustainability

This new agreement extends the collaboration for a further 9 years between Arcese and CILSA, the company that manages ZAL at the Port of Barcelona, and highlights the development of Arcese's activities in Spain where the Group, as an integrated logistics operator, aims to develop its end-to-end offer of logistics and transport solutions in the main industrial sectors. This includes the automotive, fashion and retail sectors, which have found Arcese to be a reliable partner capable of offering added value throughout the entire supply chain. Arcese guarantees a high level of service, security at every stage and specific know-how of the customer's needs in the management of import/export operations, storage up to distribution to the final customer throughout the Iberian Peninsula and beyond.

The new warehouse, which is more than 12,000 square metres, is equipped with the most modern logistics technology; it has 40 loading bays and lighting with adjustable low-energy LED technology. The installation was also designed with natural lighting exceeding 10% of the skylight area.

CILSA- ZAL Port

CILSA (Centro Intermodal de Logística, S.A., S.M.E.) is the commercial company which manages the port concession of the Logistics Activities Zone of the Port of Barcelona (ZAL Port).

CILSA manages 239 hectres located in the municipalities of Barcelona (69 ha), El Prat del Llobregat (143 ha), the CZFB (27 ha), and the ZAL Port directly manages a total of 736,332 m² of gross leasable area (GLA).
