This brand new attraction has arrived in its new home thanks to Ventana Serra’s door-to-door shipment.
A new important project that allowed Ventana Serra Mexico to end 2017 in the most successful way. The company was in charge of managing the transport of one of several “Vertical Wind Tunnel” plants intended for a renowned selection of amusement parks in Mexico. The brand new attraction has arrived via sea freight in its new home thanks to Ventana Serra’s door-to-door shipment,
The cargo arrived in Mexico on 17 December to be assembled by Ventana Serra’s end-customer and operational from 1st January 2018 in Nuevo Vallarta. Ventana Serra Mexico took care of every single stage of this important project: from the collection up to the delivery.
The oversize load shipment has been collected with special trucks directly from the manufacturer in Voronezh, Russia, where special permits were required for the transport to the port of departure in Novorossiysk. The material of just one tunnel weighed 19 tons for a volume of over 300 cubic metres.
At the port of Novorossiysk, the goods were unloaded with a crane and positioned in a flatrack container (one attraction alone required two 40' flatrack containers!). The containers arrived in Veracruz, Mexico, where they were unloaded, customs-cleared, and loaded on trucks to be transported to Nuevo Vallarta. The goods were placed in special packaging designed by a supplier selected by Ventana Serra. This packaging was specifically intended for protecting the goods during transport.
In 2018, Ventana Serra will be involved in other shipments to the amusement parks of Mexico’s main tourist cities. Cancun, Los Cabos, Cozumel, Acapulco, Playa del Carmen, Merida, and Mazatlán are the cities where we will bring a huge source of amusement, always with the utmost efficiency!
