The Arcese Group thus strengthens its partnership with the car manufacturer in a continuously expanding territory.
The Arcese Group recently inaugurated the launch of the Contract Logistics BU in Poland, with the opening of a new branch in Teresin, the hub of Ford spare parts distribution operations in the country.
The new site, used as a distribution centre and warehouse, is strategically located about 50 kilometres west of Warsaw and boasts a privileged position thanks to the presence of a railway line that connects Western Europe to the Baltic countries and to Russia and A2 motorway - Freedom Highway, which connects Berlin to Moscow, which is only 16 kilometres away. It covers a surface area of 10,700 m2 and is equipped with 7 loading and unloading docks and a practical entrance ramp. With a team of around 40 professionals, it is already able to ensure efficient and timely distribution nationwide, and will soon extend its reach to the Baltics, serving the automotive communities of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
Arcese and Ford thus consolidate their partnership, continuing to share the promise and commitment to guaranteeing their customers excellence, efficiency and timeliness.
Arcese Group presence in Poland dates back to 2005 - the year of the opening of the first branch in the Silesia region, in Bedzin - with around 200 employees. It represents an important and strategic access to the main corridors of Europe, offering road and intermodal FTL services, with national and international transport.
