Ventana Serra will set up Louis Vuitton’s corner at La Rinascente department store in Milan in partnership with the famous fashion house
At the end of 2017, Ventana Serra managed the shipment of an electric Mini Moke, a small car from the ‘60s, which a French manufacturer converted into an electric vehicle. Today, it is the coolest car among celebrities.
Its appearance evokes summer, the sea, and beaches. That’s why Louis Vuitton decided to make the Mini Moke the star of their corner to present the men’s Hawaiian-style summer pre-collection.
The French fashion house has chosen Ventana Serra to ship the vehicle from France to Italy. In particular, Ventana Serra’s branch in Cavenago has organised the shipment taking care of every single detail, from the collection at the supplier’s premises in France to the delivery at La Rinascente in Milan’s city centre using a dedicated truck. In January, the company also organised the shipment of another Mini Moke, this time to Selfridges’ main shop in London.
The collaboration between Ventana Serra and Louis Vuitton started in 2012, when the Italian company was asked to ship furnishing accessories to the brand’s boutiques in Italy’s and Europe’s main cities, such as Milan, Rome, Vienna, Prague, and Madrid.
A partnership that has been consolidated over the years and has allowed Ventana Serra to manage important projects for the French fashion house, such as the shipment of furnishing accessories to the boutique in Place Vendôme in Paris in June 2016. The furnishings, chosen by Peter Marino, was shipped to Louis Vuitton’s boutique from his fashion house in New York.
A delicate work, which required a team of specialised personnel who were able to coordinate all the activities and support the client with the utmost professionalism.
