Arcese at the forefront of sustainability: awarded a gold medal by Ecovadis

The Group is once again among the best companies in its sector in the fields of Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement

Arcese's sustainability strategy is increasingly appreciated, and in 2021 it has been awarded the Gold Medal by rating platform named EcoVadis.

The result is an important confirmation of Arcese's commitment to sustainability which has seen the company further improve its rating compared to previous years, ranking in the top 2% of companies in its sector, improving further in the areas of Environment, Labour, Human Rights and Ethics.

The EcoVadis methodology used is based on international sustainability standards (Global Reporting Initiative, UN Global Compact, ISO 26000) and aims to assess companies on the basis of indicators covering four subject areas: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.

"We are proud that our efforts to consolidate our commitment to ethical and sustainable business have been recognised; this gives us the opportunity to increase quality and value throughout the supply chain, consolidating common goals with our customers," comments Simona Melai - Sustainability Manager for Arcese - who adds: "This result also encourages us to continue on the path we have taken with the passion and responsibility we have always put into doing our work."
