Thanks to a door-to-door shipment by sea, school supplies for children have been shipped to Gaza Strip
Recently Ventana Serra completed a very special order by supporting the Green Hopes Gaza project by ACS Italia, an Italian Charity. The aim of the project is supporting the social and environmental redevelopment of the areas in the north of the Gaza Strip. The company has in fact managed the shipment of school equipment; a truly delicate operation, considering this place was in the middle of the conflict in the past few months.
The shipment required careful planning of activities and the operations were managed by the commercial and operational team of Ventana Serra branch in Basiano.
The goods, weighing over 3000 kg, consisted of school desks, a tent intended for activities for children and other school equipment - which were collected at our warehouse in Basiano and then shipped by sea from the port of Genoa to reach Ashood after 12 days.
