A new and important milestone celebrated with employees and customers of the Group
Ventana Serra do Brasil completed 25 years of activities in Brazil in 2022. Headquartered in Belo Horizonte, with branches in several Brazilian capitals and with capillary operations throughout the country, the company has celebrated the date at a special time: Ventana Serra has been growing rapidly, offering logistical services to various sectors of the local economy and closes 2022 with its best business performance in its Brazilian history so far.
“We are proud to reach our 25 years of presence in the Brazilian market. Since the opening of our first office, in Belo Horizonte, the Brazilian operation has grown constantly”, says Paolo Casadonte, CEO of Ventana Serra do Brasil. In addition to the headquarters in the capital of Minas Gerais, the company today operates in Betim, São Paulo, Guarulhos, Campinas, Santos, Rio de Janeiro and Recife, serving clients from all over Brazil. Over the last two years, the company has expanded its operations in road transport. Future investments and opportunities will be focused on import, customs clearance, intermodal transport and warehousing services.
In celebration of its 25th anniversary, the company brought together 250 people on November 26th, in Belo Horizonte, including all its Brazilian employees, the management from the Italian Headquarter, customers and many other special guests at Casa Bernardi, one of the biggest venues for events in the capital of Minas Gerais.
“Our achievements in those 25 years were only possible due to the support of the Arcese Group and, especially, due to the tireless work of our employees'', said Casadonte. “I would like to thank all our partners who helped us to establish excellent logistic services and our customers, who are the real reason of our work: they trust us and we trive to offer them the best we can.”
Matteo Arcese thanked the Brazilian employees and commented that the decision to invest in Brazil was one of his first decisions as a manager of the group. “The success of the Brazilian operations shows that the decision was correct”, he said. The Consul of Italy in Minas, Riccardo D’Andrea, present at the event, said: “People tell me that Ventana Serra was lucky in Brazil. If luck is a combination of committed people, hard work and service excellence, yes, Ventana Serra was lucky!”.
The 25th anniversary celebration ended with a tribute to employees with the most years of work at the company, followed by a dinner with music and dancing.
