Ventana Serra and the FCA team together for a special logistical operation with a remote destination

The expedition has allowed two Jeeps to reach the island of Fernando de Noronha, where they will contribute to an important environmental cause

In November, Ventana Serra completed a very special order for the FCA client, managing the shipment of two Jeeps between the port of Recife - in the state of Pernambuco - and the island of Fernando de Noronha, located about 350 km from the Brazilian coast, in the Atlantic Ocean.
A very delicate logistical operation, considering the remote destination of the two Jeeps and the precarious nature of sea transport in that geographical region. The expedition required careful planning of activities and the collaboration of the sales and operations team of the Recife branch in Ventana Serra, Brazil.

Paolo Casadonte - Country Manager of Ventana Serra do Brasil - commented: "In the LATAM region, the partnership with the FCA Group has been with us for several years now, on important logistic, international and national flows. This expedition not only confirms the success of this collaboration but has also been unique! The Jeep® vehicles have been delivered by the FCA to the TAMAR project, an initiative that has been protecting sea turtle hatchlings at risk of extinction since 1982 and will therefore be used for egg-laying monitoring operations and the birth of turtle hatchlings along the coast of the island. I would like to thank the team that contributed towards achieving this result for their excellent planning and teamwork. We are proud to have participated in such an important project and to share with our Client fundamental values such as sustainability. For our Group, protecting the environment is part of our business development strategy, and in this direction we implement concrete actions to meet our environmental commitments, including: reducing the emissions generated by our activities and optimising the use of resources".
