Sustainable logistics: Arcese wins the “Best Supplier” award
An important acknowledgement for Arcese Group, which has won the “Best Supplier” award for the Logistic Services category at the Sofidel Suppliers Sustainability Awards
On 5 October, Arcese Group won the “Best Supplier” award for the Logistic Services category. An acknowledgement promoted by Sofidel, a world-leading company in the production of tissue paper for sanitary use.
The event was organised for the inauguration of Sofidel’s new plant in Circleville, Ohio (USA). It was a unique opportunity to meet clients, suppliers, institutions, and other stakeholders and approach the American market.
That’s why the third edition of this award ceremony took place in Columbus (Ohio). The awarded categories were for the “Best Supplier” and “Best Sustainable Project”. Two acknowledgements for the best practices and improvement actions taken by the suppliers of the Group within a sustainable environmental and social context.
Arcese Group won the “Best Supplier” award for the Logistic Services category for having provided its client with sustainable transport solutions. The intermodal services provided have allowed Arcese to reduce CO2 emissions, a result in line with our strategy of the past few years, which focuses on intermodal transport (road, railway, and short-sea) as an alternative to all-road methods.
This is why the company keeps investing significantly in the development of an integrated multimodal network on a European scale, as well as in new assets, ranging from state-of-the-art intermodal semi-trailers to vehicles powered with alternative fuels, thus ensuring environmentally friendly solutions.
