COVID-19 emergency: updates on Arcese Group services in UK

Our transports, collection and distribution services are guaranteed throughout the territory

Arcese UK Ltd continues to operate with full UK distribution coverage, both through its own fleet and that of its national network of partners in both Pallet and Parcel systems. However, in line with government guidance and also in consideration a reduced demand, we have decided to reduce our fleet in line with the current operating conditions and volumes. This may mean that transit times are extended to and from Europe and also within the UK, however our team will confirm at the time of quotation, booking or at the point of calling to book in a collections or delivery.

We continue to serve as normal many clients through our dedicated through the night distribution network, which now offers further peace of mind in terms of social distancing improvements.

HOW ARE WE OPERATING?

Our administrative and operational staff are either now working from home or where there is a requirement to be in work, a social distancing policy is in place to ensure working arrangements are suitably spaced. Our warehouses are in full operations and handling teams are working with reduced staffing respecting all preventive measures requested by national authorities (e.g. use of DPI when needed, social distancing).

Our drivers are maintaining a social distancing regime when arriving at our client’s premises while visiting drivers to our sites are being asked to maintain a 2mtr distance when interacting with our staff and welfare facilities remain open to these drivers.

We are continuing with our distribution plans as normal and we continue to remain open and fully operational in Tilbury and Daventry and ready to assist our Customer s with any special requirements for logistics, distribution and storage,

All our staff is an active part and involved in minimizing the effects of this emergency on the levels of service offered.
