A recognition and confirms the successful collaboration between the two companies since 2011
The event organised by Asiana Cargo – the freight division of Asiana Airlines – to celebrate 10 years of activities in Italy was held on Wednesday 16 October at the Hotel de Ville in Monza. Over 100 between major Italian industry players and shipping companies joined the event.
Ventana Serra was there to be awarded and acknowledged for their consolidated partnership. Kyung Hwan Moon – General Manager of Europe Cargo Sales – and Moon Chul Kee – Executive Vice President of Europe HQ – presented the award.
The partnership between Ventana Serra and Asiana Cargo started in 2011 to manage the flows towards the Far East, in particular from and to the airports of Shanghai, Singapore, Taiwan and Seoul.
The collaboration between the two companies has grown over the years. In 2018, they handled about 285,000 kg of cargo. This year, they handled about 239,000 kg, and are set to keep growing in 2019.
Today, Asian Airlines is Korea’s major airline. It operates 14 domestic routes, 90 international routes, and 27 cargo routes in Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania.
This award confirms how strategically important the company’s partners are to develop their business. Collaborating with major airlines and shipping companies allows Ventana Serra to provide flexible and highly competitive import/export shipments.
