Arcese UK received renewal of its ISO 14001:2015 certification from the British Assessment Bureau

Arcese confirms its commitment to an efficient and sustainable management of its organization and activities

Arcese UK obtained the renewal of the ISO 14001: 2015 certification issued by the British Assessment Bureau, which has positively assessed the compliance of the company's organizational processes. The renewal confirms Arcese's commitment to the protection of the environment thanks to a better resources management plan and the reduction of waste.

ISO 14001 was first introduced in 1996 as a British Standard and requires organisations to have an environmental policy and action plan in place to manage their impact on the environment. Certified organisations are committed to continuous improvement and are assessed annually to ensure progress is being maintained.

Arcese has shown they have good service reliability and process controls, which means clear understanding of the customer's expected quality.

Steve Day, Operations Manager of Arcese UK said: “The renewal of this certification once again proves that Arcese is at forefront when it comes to Environmental standards. This a top priority in all our actions and demonstrates we can provide environmentally friendly solutions for our clients” and add “In order to maintain the standard required, our whole team is committed and involved on a daily basis, paying particular attention to optimizing resources and reducing emissions associated with transport activities.”

The benefits of showing conformance to the ISO 14001 standard are numerous and include: achieve operational excellence, demonstrate environmental credentials, reduce costs and wastage just to name some.

During 2019 company focus will be to manage ISO14001 to the highest standard within their business through proactive communication and to achieve FORS Bronze and ISO 9001 quality management system certification by the end of 2019.

Arcese UK has over 14 years’ experience within the logistics and transport sector and has grown steadily from its formation in 2005. Since then, Arcese UK has been operating at the highest standards possible and with optimum efficiency showing full commitment and professionalism to customer and employees. THE BRITISH ASSESSMENT BUREAU

The British Assessment Bureau’s reputation was established in 1969 as a specialist in certification scheme management. In 1997, the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry approved the use of the word ‘British’ in their title, in recognition of their pre-eminent status.
Today, they certify organisations to recognised standards, including ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 14001 (environmental management), ISO 27001 (information security management) and OHSAS 18001 (occupational health and safety management). They also design and manage bespoke assessment schemes. Such schemes are based on the establishment of standards, which can be developed to be recognised company-wide, industry-wide, nationally, or internationally.
