Arcese will be the sponsor of Europe's most prestigious Granfondo, now in its 36th edition.
Arcese is proud to announce that, for the eighth consecutive year, it will sponsor the Maratona dles Dolomites-Enel, the queen among Europe's granfondo races, now in its 36th edition. The event will take place on Sunday 2 July 2023 in the heart of the Italian Alps. The unique event attracts thousands of cyclists from all over the world who gather to test their endurance and skills on some of Europe's most breath-taking and challenging mountain passes.
It is the values of sportsmanship, perseverance and team spirit that bind Arcese to this event: in fact, our One Team spirit is synonymous with cooperation, mutual respect, and solidarity, which are precious characteristics of being human.
This year, the event will focus precisely on the concept of humanity, the purest and most positive one, the one that does not stand by and watch.
Humanity: a fundamental value for Arcese. The Group has always been keenly aware of the importance of connections between people and the communities in which it operates, striving to make a positive impact by building a better future through specific environmental, economic, and social initiatives.
"We are proud to be a sponsor of the Maratona and to support an event that shares our values," says Matteo Arcese - Executive President of the Group. "At Arcese, we believe that people are at the heart of everything we do, and we represent this with a dedicated project, RIDE TO INSPIRE, in which Kevin Ferrari, a young man who is not afraid to go beyond his limits, plays the starring role and proudly joins Team Arcese. We can't wait to get on the saddle together, ready to ride to the finish line!".
"With this project, Arcese once again demonstrates its attachment to the spirit of the Maratona," says Claudio Canins - Managing Director of the Maratona - who continues: "Sport is the mirror of our society, capable of transmitting more or less virtuous models of life and practices of behaviour. Sport has always played a decisive role in our culture, both social and family.
This is why we consider the partnership with Arcese very important, especially because their approach is to put humanity at the centre."
