4,038 vessel crossings certified and a contribution of €197,435.70 to strengthen intermodality between Italy and Spain
Arcese confirms its commitment to developing sustainable transport solutions by obtaining, for the second consecutive year, the Ecobonus Marítimo state incentive, promoted by the Ministerio de Transportes y Movilidad Sostenible and financed through the Mecanismo de Recuperación y Resiliencia (MRR) of the European Commission under the NextGenerationEU programme.
For the reference period, the company certified 4,038 vessel crossings, receiving a contribution of €197,435.70 to support the modal shift from road to maritime transport. This result confirms the effectiveness of Arcese’s intermodal strategy and the central role of maritime links in enhancing efficiency and sustainability along the supply chain between Italy and Spain.
A strategic milestone in the development of international intermodality
The renewal of the incentive further strengthens Arcese’s presence in the Iberian market and represents concrete recognition of the Group’s investments in low-emission mobility. The use of maritime transport helps reduce road traffic, CO₂ emissions, and infrastructure congestion, contributing to the European objectives of sustainability and ecological transition.
Transparency and compliance with PRTR guidelines
In accordance with the provisions of the Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y Resiliencia (PRTR), Arcese ensures full compliance with the visibility and communication requirements for projects financed by the European Union, guaranteeing the correct identification of the support received and the use of the official wording “Financiado por la Unión Europea – NextGenerationEU”.
