A new milestone for our Group in Spain to expand the range of services offered to customers
Once again, Arcese aims for excellence by obtaining a new certification: the ISO 13485: 2018 standard for the storage, distribution and transport of medical devices. Arcese España is the first company of the Group to obtain this important recognition following an audit carried out at the end of February by the certification body Bureau Veritas at its branch in Madrid.
Ensuring high standards of service to customers is the goal that Arcese España has always been committed to maintaining, by implementing an effective Quality System and a process of continuous improvement involving all business activities and processes. Objective confirmed by José Luis Iranzo, CEO of Arcese España S.A.U., who comments: "The ISO 13485 certificate is another important step in our strategic business development plan for Arcese in Spain. Quality has always been a fundamental element for our company and the certifications obtained are a further confirmation of this. In Spain we have implemented an integrated Quality, Environment and Safety management system which allow us to improve our performances and limit the environmental impact of our activities, while optimally managing health and safety of our employees and partners. The new certification, achieved at the end of demanding compliance work, represents a great competitive advantage offered to our customers, as well as a further opportunity for commercial development and access to new markets, which until now were blocked by regulatory constraints.”
In 2020, the objective is to extend certification to the company's other branches in Spain and to adapt the current OHSAS 18001: 2007 to the new ISO 45001:2018 standard.
