The Arcese Group is proud to announce that Arcese España, through collaboration with its local transportation partners, has chosen to use HVO100, a diesel fuel derived from renewable raw materials, for all vehicles used on its main groupage routes, both domestically and internationally.
In line with the values of sustainability, innovation and operational excellence throughout the Group, Arcese España has adopted HVO as a concrete solution to reduce its environmental impact. Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) is a biofuel produced from waste raw materials and plant residues, as well as from oils generated from crops that do not compete with the food chain. Due to its formulation, the use of this alternative fuel enables significant reductions in CO2 emissions throughout the supply chain, with emissions up to 90 percent lower than a traditional fossil fuel.
The logistics and transportation sector faces a major sustainability challenge, and Arcese understands that the use of alternative fuels such as HVO100 moves toward reducing the impact of greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere. With this choice, the Group reinforces its concrete commitment to the transition to more sustainable logistics.
Arcese España
Arcese España is part of the Arcese Group, a logistics operator with more than 3,500 employees and 70 locations worldwide. Present in Spain since 1991, it currently has branches in Barcelona, Madrid, Irún and Valladolid, with 200 employees and 50,000 square meters of warehouses. As for its results in Spain, Arcese ended 2024 with a turnover of about 60 million euros.
