Arcese consolidates its Italian network and distribution services in Central Italy by opening a new branch in Lazio region
Arcese announces the opening of a new branch in Riano (North of Rome), as a result of the expansion its network and consolidation of its distribution services.
The new branch is located in a logistically strategic place, about 30 km from Rome, and are very close to the city’s access points, so as to cover quickly and effectively the urban area of Rome. The new branch has been operative from September and has a 3500 m2 warehouse.
The new facilities serving Lazio and Umbria regions join Arcese’s 9 branches in Italy and its 20 consolidated partners to ensure its onsite clients improved delivery times and a wider range of collection and distribution services.
«This new branch is the continuation of a growth process that the company has undertaken in the last few years and aims at ensuring a widespread presence across Italy. This branch will be connected on a daily basis to all the hubs of Arcese and our partners”, said Salvatore Malfa — Arcese’s Domestic Road Freight Director — who added “Lazio is an ever-growing region and many renowned companies in various industry sectors have their headquarters here. Moreover, it’s a region with a high distribution rate and has the fastest economic growth rate in Italy, especially the provinces of Rome, Latina, and Viterbo. Thanks to the new warehouse and state-of-the-art technologies” he added “We can ensure our clients the same quality even in the presence of increasingly larger volumes.” Then, he concluded “Our company aims at consolidating the network and more sustainable services. In future, even Rome could benefit of new delivery solutions methods with low-environmental impact, which have been already implemented in Milan, London, Geneva, and Barcelona. These cities have recently introduced electric and CNG vehicles for deliveries in the city centre.”
