Arcese and CTL AG: the beginning of a new collaboration

New solutions for partners, improved connections to and from Italy and Germany, and shorter transit times.

Milan (IT) / Homberg (DE), 5th March 2024 – Long-term cooperation signed: Arcese Group is starting a strategic partnership with Cargo Trans Logistik (CTL) AG with immediate effect. The groupage logistics cooperation is thus focusing on expanding internationally to open up new markets and generate competitive advantages for its partners. For its part, Arcese Group has its own extensive groupage network. This results in significantly improved connections to and from Italy for CTL members, as well as shorter transit times for transportation.

"International relations are always associated with country-specific challenges. By opening up the Italian market, we are supporting our partners in their relations with Southern Europe and are pleased to have found the perfect partner for this in Arcese," says CTL CEO, Francesco De Lauso.
Thanks to the cooperation, over 180 partners in the groupage network can access Arcese Group's network and offer their customers reliable and fast procurement and delivery transports. Arcese network includes more than 50 distribution partners throughout Italy.

The high-performance procurement solution includes daily transports to and from Italy as well as delivery with guaranteed time slots. "With Arcese, we are not gaining a network partner, but a partner network. During an intensive preparation and implementation period, we were able to synchronize our networks in all areas, so that we can benefit mutually from all the possibilities" says De Lauso.
The cooperation offers the partners of Arcese and CTL a competitive, attractive market expansion and enables joint sales activities for cross-border tenders. Digitized processes also enable complete transparency on both sides.

Arcese Group is a logistics operator with 70 direct locations worldwide, more than 3,000 employees, a modern fleet and more than 450,000 sqm of warehouses. The Group provides highly integrated and customized services covering the entire supply chain: from road and intermodal transport, air&ocean freight forwarding to warehousing. Fabio Russo, Italy Road Freight LTL Director from Arcese Group, comments on the cooperation: "The partnership with CTL allows us to build a bilateral relationship between two European leaders in groupage distribution, aimed at providing the market with first-class pick-up and delivery solutions."
