3,659 sea crossings and more than €213,000 in funding to support increasingly sustainable logistics.
For the third consecutive year, Arcese has been awarded the Ecobonus Marítimo, the incentive promoted by the Ministerio de Transportes y Movilidad Sostenible and funded through the Mecanismo de Recuperación y Resiliencia (MRR) of the European Commission under the NextGenerationEU programme. The initiative aims to encourage the shift of freight transport from road to sea and support the development of logistics solutions with a lower environmental impact.
During the third year of the programme, the Group recorded 3,659 sea crossings, receiving funding of €213,625.59. This achievement confirms the effectiveness of Arcese's intermodal strategy and its ongoing commitment to developing increasingly efficient and sustainable transport services.
The Ecobonus Marítimo supports companies that choose maritime transport as an alternative to road-only transport, helping to reduce CO₂ emissions, infrastructure congestion and the environmental impact of freight transport. In this context, intermodality is one of the most effective tools for supporting the transition towards more sustainable mobility.
The funding received will support the further development of Arcese's intermodal solutions through investments aimed at making transport services even more efficient, innovative and sustainable, while strengthening the role of maritime transport within the supply chain.
This recognition is a further confirmation of Arcese's commitment to building an increasingly responsible logistics model, combining operational efficiency, innovation and environmental responsibility.
