2015

CODE OF ETHICS

Arcese Trasporti Introduced its is own Code of Ethics, containing values and standards of conduct to inspire and guide all Arcese staff and collaborators.

During the same year, the company also obtained ISO/TS 14067, confirmation of its commitment to environmental sustainability through the reduction of Co2 emissions.

2014

NEW AWARD

Ventana Serra is awarded «Company to Watch 2013» as a result of its market performance achievements, the value of implemented corporate strategies and proven potential for growth.

2012

SAFETY

Arcese Group becomes member of TAPA, the Transported Asset Protection Association. Arcese also obtains Authorised Economic Operator – Full (AEO-F) status.

2011

NEW BUSINESS

In addition to services offered in the contract logistics sector, Arcese is specialised in document management and archiving, as well as the supply of e-commerce logistics services.

2009

SPORT AND PASSION

SEL – Sport & Events Logistics, a company specialised in logistics for sports event and more – joins Arcese Group.
SEL provides logistic activities for managing large-scale promotional events, meetings and much more.

2008

GLOBAL PRESENCE

With the opening of new local offices in Turkey, China and Mexico, the logistics supply chain of the Group, from Asia to South America, is completed. Arcese consolidates its international presence, not only in the field of transports, but also integrated logistics.

2007

NEW SERVICES

Arcese adds groupage services: daily connections guarantee a rapid and flexible service in Italy and Europe, a complete and efficient service for customers, suitable for all requirements.

2006

MORE THAN A NEW NAME

Ventana Serra S.p.A. is born from the merging of Ventana Cargo and Serra Shipping, a leading company in maritime shipments. A new name for the Arcese Group company specialised in air and maritime shipping, which soon makes it as one of the top 10 IATA air freight forwarders.

2002-2005

EXPANSION IN EUROPE

European expansion and network development continue in earnest with the opening of offices in Belgium, Spain and the United Kingdom. Growth continues over the years thanks to business agreements and new local offices in Turkey, France and Sweden, resulting in an unstoppable growth throughout the entire continent.

2000

LOGISTIC INTEGRATION

Arcese Logistics International is born. The growth strategy is focused on offering a complete range of services, including industrial logistics and supply chain management services, making the company a reliable partner which provides complete assistance for its customers.

1997

SUCCESS STORIES

Eleuterio Arcese wins “Entrepreneur of the Year”, a prestigious recognition awarded by the Milan Chamber of Commerce to entrepreneurs who significantly contribute towards the growth of the Italian economic system and spread the culture of enterprise.

1994

QUALITY

Arcese obtains UNI EN ISO 9001:1994 quality certification, issued by Certiquality. This is the first of many recognitions and certifications obtained over the years by the company.

1990

BEYOND BORDERS

Arcese acquires Ventana Cargo, a company specialised in sea and air shipping. In this way both the Group’s network and international position is consolidated. There are no territorial boundaries or limits to the flexibility of freight forwarding solutions.

1981

INTERMODAL FREIGHT

Intermodal transport has been added: the optimal combination of road and rail shipping guarantees quality services and increasingly environmentally friendly solutions. In this way the company begins its transformation into a sustainability-oriented business.

1966

THE FIRST TRUCK

Mr. Legrenzi, known as the “Commendatore” and owner of “Arti Grafiche” and “Cartiere del Garda”, makes an offer to Eleuterio Arcese: the purchase of two lorries through contracted work, in return for continuous work. In this way, Mr. Arcese founds a one-man business for contracted freighting.
